Petite Fleur - the baby Tango

The Petite Fleur is the smallest and entry level unistat for temperature control applications in the mid range
-40°C to 200°C. The Petite Fleur in comparison with the Tango Nuevo, is 2/3rds the size, 2/3rds the power and 2/3rds the price.

The first version of Petite Fleur, the baby Tango, uses proven Unistat technology and is designed for externally closed applications, e.g. reactors. The unit features the familiar Unistat expansion tank and the large illuminated sight glass. A second version for open bath applications is under development.

Control & Functionality for all Applications

The Petite Fleur features the CC-Pilot Professional controller and display. The units powerful variable speed pump combined with the VPC pressure control and the TAC adaptive internal and cascade control ensure the best possible results. Units also feature a factory installed ComBox communications interface as standard. The unit has two M16 hose connections on the rear.

Lift and Roll

Just 260 mm wide the baby Tango is ideally suited to fit in fumehoods. The castors fitted at the back of the unit allow it to be easily brought to the required position, just lift and roll.

Ready for action

Where the application is regularly changed, residual water in hoses and reactors can be a problem because the water mixes with the thermal fluid and inhibits the heat transfer process. The Petite Fleur features a new water separation system which allows water to be removed from the thermal fluid during operation.

More Power

DIN 12876 requires that cooling powers are measured and quoted at full pump speed. However, reducing the pump speed reduces the heat energy entering the system, which In turn leads to higher cooling powers and lower end temperatures – indeed an extra 30 to 50 Watts can be achieved.

Minichillers

The Minichiller is incredibly small and extremely quiet, yet powerful enough to ensure highly stable cooling. Through efficient energy management the Minichiller is able to cool your laboratory equipment eliminating the cost of mains water and helping the environment.

Robust, reliable and simple to use the Minichiller has a LED display that provides a clear display of real-time information such as set point and actual temperature.

Save water, save £££’s, reduce risk of flooding!

The Minichiller offers efficient, safe and cost effective cooling in your laboratory...

Typical Applications...

  • A standard rotary evaporator
  • A series of small standard lab condensers
  • Reaction blocks or parallel synthesisers such as the Carousel

Large savings on water consumption

The Minichiller can service up to 5 standard lab condensers simultaneously which represents a typical saving of £3000* in water charges per year *5 condensers running 8 hours per day, 20 days per month on a medium flow rate of 5 litres per minute, at 0.1p per litre.

Reduce the risk of flooding

The maximum internal coolant capacity is limited to 2 litres, thereby restricting any flood to this volume.

Constant cooling without pressure drop

Pressure drops in your mains water supply can cause erratic cooling which can significantly affect your work. This is a particularly common where larger scale apparatus is used elsewhere on the same water supply.

Microprocessor Control

Simple, low cost digital temperature controller with 0.1°C display resolution, adjustable alarm limits and level monitory.

Ministats - compact heating and cooling

The Ministats compact size makes it idea for use in fumehoods or crowded benches.

All units feature a powerful variable speed pressure/suction pump that can heat or cool objects either in the internal bath or externally e.g. reaction vessels. The small bath volume and high power means exceptionally rapid heating and cooling rates are achieved. Optional displacement inserts reduce the bath volume by approximately 50% amplifying this effect. All models have ‘Active Cooling Control’ which allows cooling even at the maximum working temperature. The bath opening allows small objects to be heated or cooled in the internal bath. All components in contact with the thermofluid are made of stainless steel or high quality plastic.

More Power

DIN 12876 requires that cooling powers are measured and quoted at full pump speed. However, reducing the pump speed reduces the heat energy entering the system, which in turn leads to higher cooling powers and lower end temperatures – indeed an extra 30 to 50 Watts and 5°C lower end temperatures can be achieved.

New Unistats 905w and 912w

Designed to give the highest possible flow rates, the new Unistats feature an efficient variable-speed pump with soft start. This enables the safest and fastest ramp rates resulting in tighter control of process temperature while protecting your reactorand maximising process efficiencies. The pressure of the thermal fluid is closely controlled and monitored by an adaptive controller that brings a new level of precision to thermal control that can be delivered to a wide variety of applications.

The hydraulically sealed Unistats allows thermofluids to be used safely above their flash point without the fear of ignition. In addition, because the thermofluids are not exposed to the atmosphere whilst being heated/cooled, they do not give off vapours, prevent ice ingress within the thermofluid and thereby extend the life of the thermofluid.

Consistent with the entire Unistat range, the New Unistats feature the Unistat Pilot. An easy to use touch screen controller, with simple to access menus displaying all the key parameters, including, process temperature, jacket temperature, fluid pressure and safety settings.
